BLACKPINK’s Jennie tops October’s brand reputation list, followed by aespa’s Karina and BTS’ J Hope.
The members of BLACKPINK—Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé—have been achieving one milestone after another since they decided to pursue solo careers. Recently, Jennie released the lead solo, Mantra, from her upcoming debut studio album, and it’s got everyone dancing to its upbeat rhythms. The same song has led Jennie to the top of October’s brand reputation list.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute analysis, the BLACKPINK singer saw a remarkable 351.78% increase in her brand reputation index, achieving a total score of 8,893,903. This analysis is based on various metrics, including media coverage, interaction and community awareness, collected from a pool of 1,730 idols over a period of one month, from September 24 to October 24.
In Jennie’s keyword analysis, the top terms associated with the BLACKPINK singer included Mantra, talk show, and pretty girl. Related phrases like sexy, confident, and mesmerize were also associated with Jennie, whose positivity rating was equally impressive, with a score of 94.80% positive reactions.
Speaking of other BLACKPINK members, Rose is fifth on the list. Thanks to her impressive collaboration with Bruno Mars on the song APT, she has recorded a brand reputation index of 4,923,535. The other two members of the K-pop girl group, Jisoo and Lisa, are also placed in the Top 10, bagging the ninth and tenth positions, respectively.
Meanwhile, aespa’s Karina claimed the second position on the brand reputation list, with a score of 7,025,559, an 87.59% increase since September. Her new single Up, featured on the concert album Synk: Parallel Line, has contributed significantly to her rising popularity.
BTS’ J-Hope, who recently got discharged after completing his mandatory military duty, jumped to third place with a staggering 470.58% increase in his brand reputation index, scoring 5,600,506. Whereas BTS’ Jin secured the eighth position after the release of the first track, I’ll Be There, from his upcoming solo album Happy. Meanwhile, ASTRO’s Chan Eun Woo was fourth in October’s brand reputation list with a score of 5,124,233, marking a 149.90% increase from last month.
