Income Tax: Over the past two years, the Income Tax Department has made a number of efforts to make the process of filing an income tax return (ITR) simple and painless. Moreover, another entrance for structure rectification and annual expense form recording has been made by the Income Tax Division.
The Income Tax Department has also unveiled a new method for paying taxes in addition to all of these changes. The use of a credit card or UPI to pay taxes is now also available to taxpayers.
Any taxpayer can use the Income Tax Department’s facility to pay their taxes on the NSDL website using a debit card from an authorized bank and net banking from 16 banks. Paying your taxes may be challenging if you are in this situation but do not have an account with one of these banks; however, you should not be concerned about this.
