Nokia C22 launched in India with Octa-Core Unisoc chipset. Here’s price, specs, more


On Thursday, the Nokia C22 was released in India, after being introduced worldwide in February this year, together with the Nokia C32. The phone is offered in three different color choices and two storage options, with HMD Global, Nokia’s parent company, promoting it as an excellent balance of performance and affordability. The device features a sturdy polycarbonate unibody design with a strong metal frame, a 2.5D display glass, and an IP52 rating.


Nokia C22: Price 

The affordable Nokia C22 is currently available for purchase in India, in Charcoal, Purple, and Sand color options. The phone has two storage variants: 2GB + 64GB and 4GB + 64GB. The base variant is priced at Rs. 7,999, while the higher storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,499.

Nokia C22: Specifications

The Nokia C22 has a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor, accompanied by an LED flash module. On the top of the display, there is a centre-aligned waterdrop notch which houses the 8-megapixel front camera.

It boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The device is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC and can have up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. It comes with the Android 13 Go Edition pre-installed.

This budget-friendly smartphone from Nokia is equipped with a battery that supports 10W charging and provides up to 3 days of battery life, although the capacity is not specified. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel for security purposes, as well as a face unlock feature. It supports dual-nano-SIM and will receive quarterly security updates for two years, but no operating system updates.
