Right from his debut in the 2007 film Saawariya, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor became a Bollywood heartthrob with his charm and stellar acting prowess. The mother-son duo have always been vocal about their unending love for each other. Fans took to the comments section to guess whether Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are shooting for something new and interesting at the moment.
On Monday, the actress took to Instagram to share a photo with her son Ranbir. In the photo, they could both be seen flashing their brightest smiles. While Ranbir looked dapper in a white T-shirt, Neetu looked charming as always in a printed tee. Adding a heart heart and lovestruck emoji, Neetu captioned the photo, “Back again with my favourite costar.”
Neetu Kapoor who had taken a sabbatical from acting after featuring in Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam, made her comeback on the big screen in Raj Mehta’s Jugjugg Jeeyo last year. The veteran diva shared the screen space with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor in the family comedy-drama.
When Ranbir celebrated his 41st birthday on September 28, Neetu took to Instagram to express her love and appreciation for him. She took to her Instagram story to share glimpses of the midnight celebration. The photo featured a table decorated with red rose petals and two cheesecakes to mark the special occasion. One cheesecake, from celebrity chef Pooja Dhingra’s bakery read, “Happy birthday Raha’s papa.” The other cheesecake was accompanied by a framed photo from Alia and Ranbir’s wedding.
Neetu wrote, “Birthday celebration with my most special.” In another story featuring a solo photo of Ranbir, she wrote, “Happy birthday, feel grateful for this special human being.” Ranbir’s older sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also wished the actor a happy birthday by sharing unseen photos of the duo on her story. She wrote, “Happy happiest birthday Rans! May this special day in your life be beautiful, full of love, laughter and happiness. I promise to bug you forever.”
