Rumours are rife that Naga Chaitanya is planning to get married for the second time. While there has been no confirmation on the same, many reports suggested that the actor’s father is planning for his second wedding saying that it would be an arranged marriage the girl from “a business family and will have no links with the glamour world”. However, according to latest reports, there is no truth behind this development and Naga is still going strong with his girlfriend and actor Sobhita Dhulipala.
A source close to Hindustan Times revealed that these ‘baseless rumours started in Mumbai’.
“It makes no sense at all. This is a creation of someone’s mind with no truth in it. Nothing of this sort is happening. The whole narrative of it being an arranged marriage with the father looking for a non-filmy girl from a business family is just very generic stuff created to quantify and generate buzz,” the source added.
The source further revealed, Naga is still strong with Sobhita and is in a happy place with her. However, he isn’t ready to go public about the same. They have been spotted several times holidaying.
“He is still going strong with Sobhita. We have not seen them breaking up or something. They are dating discreetly. They will not come out in the open with their relationship anytime soon, unless and until they decide to get married or engaged. They are not hassled about getting spotted together, but it will be a private thing till they officiate it with a ceremony,” the source shared.
On a closing note the source also told Hindustan Times that Naga is not in a hurry to get married again. “He just got divorced, and is in no hurry to get married because it is a second marriage for him. So, he is being very careful too.”
Speaking of Samantha’s love life, the source shared that she is currently not looking for a relationship. “She does not have anyone in her life, and took a break from work. She is focused on health and recuperating at the moment.”
Naga Chaitanya had fallen in love with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and the duo tied the knot in 2017. But the couple soon decided to part ways and divorced each other in 2021. The news of their divorce shook the whole nation as they were considered a power couple in the Telugu film industry.
