Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to tie the knot on December 4 at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The venue, deeply significant to the Akkineni family, symbolises their rich legacy in the Telugu film industry.
Amid the wedding buzz, Naga Chaitanya has addressed rumours claiming that an OTT platform acquired the rights to their wedding video for a whopping Rs 50 crore. Speaking to Zoom, the Premam actor dismissed the speculation, saying, “This is false news. There is no such deal.”
Chaitanya further revealed that the wedding will be a lavish event in terms of rituals, largely influenced by Sobhita’s family’s enthusiasm for traditional customs. However, the guest list will remain “intimate,” with only close friends and family in attendance.
The couple had maintained privacy about their relationship until their engagement in August. In the same interview, Chaitanya shared insights into their love story and the upcoming wedding, which he described as a “private affair.”
He revealed, “I was in Mumbai for the launch of my OTT show. During that time, she also had a show with the same platform. We first interacted at the event hosted by the OTT platform.”
Reflecting on their journey together, Chaitanya said, “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family over the past few months. Watching the families interact has been a joy. I’m really looking forward to the wedding day, experiencing the rituals, and seeing the families come together.”
