Motorola has finally made the Moto G60S official in the Brazilian market.

The Moto G60S features a different design than the Moto G60 but carries some of the features of the previously launched Motorola phone.

Motorola was rumoured to be working on Moto G60S, which is being touted as a watered-down version of the Moto G60. A month after leaks and rumours, Motorola has finally made the Moto G60S official in the Brazilian market.

The Moto G60S looks different from the Moto G60 but carries some of the features of the previously launched Motorola phone. The specifications of the two devices are mostly the same but the Moto G60S comes with a Mediatek chipset as opposed to Moto G60’s Snapdragon 732G.

Moto G60 was first launched in India in April. It was the first Motorola phone to come with a 108-megapixel camera. Moto G60 was launched in India for Rs 16,999. Along with the Moto G60, Motorola had also unveiled the Moto G40 Fusion, which carried the same specs as the Moto G60 mostly but had different camera specifications.

The Moto G60S if launched in India could be cheaper than the Moto G60, but the company has yet to divulge its plans of launching the phone outside of Brazil. So let us have a look at what the phone has to offer in terms of specifications.

Moto G60S: Price and availability

The Moto G60 has been launched in Brazil at BRL 2,249.10 (Rs 31,000 approximately) for the single 6GB variant. Smartphone prices are exorbitantly high in Brazil so if the phone is launched in India or any other market for that factor, it would be much cheaper than the Brazil price tag.

With the specifications it comes with, the Moto G60S may not cost more than Rs 15,000. The smartphone comes in blue and green colour variants.

Moto G60S: Specifications

The Moto G60S, just like its sibling, Moto G60 comes with a huge 6.8-inch Full HD Display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage.

The Moto G60, on the other hand, came with a Snapdragon 732G chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM.

In terms of the camera, the Moto G60S features quad-camera setup on the rear which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

The phone comes with support for 50W wired charging but Motorola has not specified the battery capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box.
