Mohanlal is gearing up to commence shooting for the second shooting schedule of upcoming pan-India film Vrushabha.
Superstar Mohanlal will be seen in the massive pan-India film Vrushabha, starring Jr NTR, Jahnvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan among others. The film which will feature Shanaya Kapoor, Zahrah S Khan among others has everyone excited ahead of it’s 2024 release. Back in August, Mohanlal had wrapped up the first shooting schedule of the film and now he has landed in Mumbai for the second shooting schedule.
On Thursday, popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani shared a video, in which Mohanlal can be seen exiting the Mumbai airport with his entourage. The actor wore a brown t-shirt, which he paired with with white pants and a black bag around his shoulders. Mohanlal also sported a beard and can be seen entering his car.

Directed by Nanda Kishore, Vrushabha also stars Shanaya Kapoor and Zahrah S Khan in lead roles. Some time back, Shanaya Kapoor shared a post and wrote, “First schedule done with Mohanlal sir! It was an honour to share the screen with you, sir. Can’t wait to get started with the final schedule in London next month.”
Penned by Janardhana Maharshi, the film will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi. Vrushabha is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the label of Balaji Telefilms, in collaboration with Connekkt Media and AVS Studios.
With this film, Zahrah S Khan, the daughter of veteran actress Salma Agha, is stepping into the world of cinema. In her debut, she takes on the role of the female lead opposite Roshann Meka. Zahrah’s character embodies a warrior princess, and she even performs significant action sequences throughout the film.
Vrushabha will reportedly hit the theatres in 2024. Other actors including Neha Saxena, Ragini Dwivedi, Roshann Meka, and Meka Srikanth will also be seen in pivotal roles. With music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the cinematography of the film is handled by Santhosh Thundiyil.
Mohanlal was last seen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial Jailer. Now, he is gearing up for several exciting projects including Barroz, Ram, Drishyam 3, Neru, and Malaikkottai Vaaliban. Shanaya Kapoor will also be seen in Karan Johar’s in-house production Bedhadak.
