Mercedes-Benz has begun testing the mid-life update for the current-gen C-Class almost four years after it made its global debut back in 2021. Mercedes C-Class facelift spy shots preview minor updates
The refreshed C-Class will get new design elements that will bring it in line with models like the E-Class and the S-Class. A fresh set of spy shots shared by our friends at Motor.es, show two C-Class mules, spotted in Europe, with a camouflaged front end. It will also a new-look grille with multiple design themes and mildly tweaked headlamp enclosures.
The LED Daytime Running Lamps are now in the shape of the three-pointed star, which is expected to become the theme for almost all new Mercedes models. The test mules seen in these spy shots have tail-lamps from the current C-Class, but we expect them to be updated with the three-pointed star LED elements as seen on the new E-Class.
Additionally, we expect new design for the alloy wheels, depending on variant and market. On the inside, sources tell us that the C-Class facelift will get the latest-gen MBUX setup and more safety tech as seen on the latest E-Class and other new Mercedes models. There are no mechanical changes expected with the facelift, which means the current set of petrol and diesel engines are likely to continue until the next emissions update.
