Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most celebrated and versatile actors of Bollywood. He has created a niche for himself through his powerful acting skills. Well, he is currently seen in the film Bhaiyya Ji. The action drama has been getting a mixed response. Recently in an interview, Manoj Bajpayee got candid and shared how vegetable sellers scolded him for bargaining.
Talking to Mashable India, Manoj Bajpayee was asked if he bargains when he goes to purchase vegetables, and he replied, “Ab daant dete hai sabzi waale mujhe, ‘Ye achcha nahi lag raha sir.’ Then I tell them that I am merely practicing! My wife would behave as if she doesn’t know me. She doesn’t like to bargain.”
Well, currently he is shooting for the third season of the Prime Video series The Family Man. Appearing on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, the actor recalled, “When I was doing season one, my wife asked with concern, ‘Is everything alright? Why are you doing a series?’ I told her, ‘Shabana, it’s a big thing in the US, and it’s going to peak here as well’.”
Manoj continued, “But Shabana could not understand. She asked, ‘You’re not doing this for money, are you? We’re very happy, you don’t need to do things that you don’t want to’. I told her that I’m not doing this for money, and that this is a very good show and shows are doing very well all over the world. We shot two seasons, and then the pandemic happened, and the pandemic changed everything.”
The actor recently shared a major update about the third season of The Family Man. The actor will reprise his role as Srikant Tiwari, who is a ‘middle-class guy and a world class spy’. Srikant will expertly confront the looming threat to national security, while balancing the demands of family life and desperately working to mend his relationship with his wife in the new season.
