Older 2023 units could have more discounts and lesser waiting but 2024 units are better equipped.
I have been offered a good discount on a 2023 XUV700 AX7 diesel automatic which a dealer has in stock, however it misses ventilated seats and some other features available in the 2024 version. If I decide to get the 2024 car, I’ll have to wait for a few months and discounts will be zilch. Which one should I pick?

Autocar India says: The 2024 XUV700 gets features like ventilated front seats, memory function for outside mirrors, 13 new connected car features and it gets a captain seat option for the middle row. Mahindra has not carried out any mechanical changes, so it still drives the same. Hence even though the new features are good to have, if you’re getting immediate delivery as well as a handsome discount on the 2023 model, we’d recommend going ahead with that. Not only are you assured of immediate delivery, but you will also be protected from any potential price hikes while waiting for the 2024 car to be allocated to you.
