All three SUVs have been designed at the Mahindra’s UK based MADE division.
Mahindra has just teased three new electric SUV concepts under what it has dubbed the ‘Born Electric Vision’. The three models have been designed by the UK based Mahindra Advance Design Europe (MADE) division that is headed by Pratap Bose, and the new SUVs are set to be unveiled in their entirety later this year in July.
- Mahindra teases an EV compact-SUV, mid-size SUV and SUV Coupe
- All three SUVs will be based on a new EV platform
The teaser video put out by Mahindra doesn’t show a whole lot of details. What we can see however, is the very concept car looking design of the three SUVs, all of which have a distinctive C-shaped LED signatures up front and at the rear, with each model having a slight variation. Another thing we can tell is that the three SUVs are comprised of what appears to be a compact-SUV, a mid-size SUV and a SUV Coupe.
According to our sources, all three SUVs will be based on a new, bespoke EV platform. The SUV coupe teased in the video is likely preview the XUV900 Coupe, while the mid-size SUV is likely to be the electric version of the XUV700. The compact-SUV teased in the video won’t be the eXUV300 that we have seen before, instead it will be an all-new model. We expect more details to surface about each of the EV SUVs closer to their unveil.
