The Mahindra Thar has been the top-selling lifestyle SUV in India since its arrival back in 2020. The high demand has resulted in long waiting periods that even stretched to over a year for few variants in the past. However, an increase in production as well as higher average monthly deliveries has helped the carmaker reduce the waiting period significantly. The 4×4 variants now have a waiting period of up to 3 months, while the 4×2 version has a waiting period of just over 2 months.
