Liam Payne's Family BREAKS Silence On One Direction Singer's Death: 'We're Heartbroken, He Will Forever…' – DellyRanks

Liam Payne was 31 when he died in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Liam Payne’s family expressed their grief over the former One Direction singer’s death in Argentina.

One Direction’s Liam Payne, 31, passed away on October 16 in Argentina. While it was initially reported that he fell off his hotel balcony in Argentina, a new statement by the Buenos Aires Security Ministry revealed that Liam Payne ‘had jumped from the balcony of his room’. Amid this, his family has given their first statement to the press.

“We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul,” Liam Payne’s family said in a statement to CNN. “We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time,” they added.

A neighbour of the family told the Daily Mail, “They (the family) were seen leaving in a hurry at around midnight last night but I’m not sure if they had bags.” “You can’t imagine what they are going through. I know Liam liked to get back here when he could. They will be utterly heartbroken as they were very close,” the neighbour added.

Meanwhile, in a statement to the Associated Press (AP), Buenos Aires Security Ministry’s communications director, Pablo Policicchio, shed light on his death and said that he ‘jumped from the balcony’ of his room that was situated on the third floor. He was put up in Casa Sur Hotel in the Palermo neighbourhood of Argentina’s capital. They also revealed that the Police rushed to the hotel after they received an emergency stress call after 5 PM local time.

The police were warned about an “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.” The Buenos Aires police said in a statement that Liam had “extremely serious injuries.” Medics added that the singer died on the spot. In the 911 call recording accessed by AP, the manager said, “A guest who is overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol … He’s destroying the entire room and, well, we need you to send someone, please.” The autopsy is underway.
