Leo actor Mansoor Ali Khan criticised the Censor Board when he brought up Tamannaah Bhatia’s song Kaavaalaa.
Leo actor Mansoor Ali Khan took a jibe at Tamannaah Bhatia’s song Kaavaalaa while speaking about censorship in Tamil Nadu. The actor held a press conference on Saturday where he spoke about the Censor cuts his film Saraku has got. While expressing his disappointment with the cuts and changes demanded by the Censor Board, Mansoor brought up Kaavaalaa. The song, composed by Anirudh R, was a part of Rajinikanth’s film Jailer. In a video snippet from the press meet shared by trade analyst Manobala V on X, Mansoor was seen slamming the song.
He asked why the song got permission and added that movements are bad. Mimicking the steps, he slammed Tamannaah’s song and the steps. He went on to question the criteria of censorship. The statements did not go down well with fans and many slammed him for his comments.
“Highly condemn #Leo actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s disrespectful speech about actress Tamannaah’s #Jailer Kaavaalaa song in yesterday’s press meet. This not the right way to criticize censor board,” Manobala wrote. “Criticise but should always respect others,” added another. “So disrespectful towards it,” a third user wrote.

Tamannaah and Anirudh are yet to comment on Mansoor Ali Khan’s statement about the Jailer song.
Kaavaalaa, sung by Shilpa Rao and Anirudh Ravichander, features lyrics written by Arunraja Kamaraj. Rajinikanth has made a special appearance in the music video and joined Tamannaah for a dance. The song has emerged as one of the biggest hits of this year. Several social media users have shared videos using the song and it was among the most trending tracks on Instagram.
