The KTM RC Cup will be held from January to March 2023, with regional rounds across eight cities – Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Registrations will open soon for the regional qualifiers. Select winners from each city will then race at the Madras International Circuit Chennai.

Jeremy McWilliams has been announced as Race Director for the series. He’s a former MotoGP racer with two podiums to his name in the 500cc class and a win in the 250cc class. Seven-time Indian National Motorcycle Racing Champion Emmanuel Jebaraj will also support the series.

Participants to race the KTM RC 390 GP Edition

Participants will race on company-provided KTM RC 390 GP Edition bikes. The GP Edition is mechanically identical to updated RC 390, with a 373.2cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine making 43.5hp and 37Nm. The engine is mated to 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The GP Edition does, however, get a MotoGP-inspired paint scheme and cosmetic additions like all-black cast alloy rims and a tinted visor.
