Kriti Sanon is currently busy with the shoot of her next romance drama, Tere Ishq Mein, with Dhanush in Delhi. A video of Kriti shooting in a crowded street of Delhi surfaced online. The leaked clip featured the actress dressed in a white top and blue jeans. She was seen riding the bus and walking the street while shooting. Fans quickly took to social media, praising the Bollywood star for her dedication and skills. Take a look:
Earlier this month, Kriti Sanon and Dhanush began the Varanasi schedule of Tere Ishq Mein. Taking to Instagram, the makers shared the shooting update with a video. The clip begins with a few glimpses of the making of Raanjhanaa. As it progresses, we see director Anand L Rai roaming in the busy streets of Varanasi and some behind-the-scenes moments from his forthcoming film along with his team members. The side note read, “Lights. Camera. Banaras. Duniya wahi, kahaani nayi… @aanandlrai ke andaaz mein. From the #WorldOfRaanjhanaa – #TereIshkMeinnow filming!”
Tere Ishk Mein marks Kriti Sanon’s first collaboration with director Anand L Rai and actor Dhanush. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2013 release, Raanjhanaa. In an interview with news agency PTI, Anand addressed the similarities between the two films. He said, “It is from the world of Raanjhanaa, but is it Raanjhanaa 2? No, it is not. When I say the world of Raanjhanaa, I mean the emotional depth that was present in that film.”
The filmmaker further explained, “Both are tragic love stories with themes of anger and passion. But while they share similarities, they are different narratives.”
Tere Ishk Mein is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film, which faced delays due to Dhanush’s prior commitments, has a theatrical release targeted for 2025.
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon will reportedly also be seen in director R Balki’s upcoming film, while Dhanush has South films such as Kuberaa and Idly Kadai in the line-up.
