The IRDAI is in charge of the insurance industry in India. In the event of an insurance-related issue, any customer can file a complaint here. IRDAI regulations require the complaint redressal officer of the company to respond to any consumer complaints within 15 days.

You can also file a complaint with the Insurance Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with the resolution provided by the IRDAI and the Company’s Grievance Redressal Officer. A total of 17 insurance ombudsmen from various parts of the country have been selected for this role. It is important to note that every policyholder is required to submit a complaint to the regional Insurance Ombudsman.

Following the mailing of your complaint, you are required to send the hard copy via speed mail to the Lokpal office.
