An EPF member’s Universal Account Number (UAN) must be linked to Aadhaar. Employees can now quickly link their Universal Account Numbers to their Aadhaar cards, both online and offline. Until your UAN is verified and linked to your Aadhaar number, you will not be able to withdraw funds from your EPF account.
The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPFO) allows EPF members to link their Aadhaar to their Universal Account Number (UAN) both online and offline.
Instructions for the EPFO portal:
Step 1: To access Member Sewa, go to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/.
Step 2: Utilize the UAN login credentials to access your EPF account.
Step 3: Select the KYC option from the menu that says “manage.”
Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar information after selecting Aadhaar.
Step 5: Select “Save.”
Step 6: UIDAI data will be used to verify your Aadhaar.
Step 7: The Aadhaar will be linked to the EPF account after KYC is finished.
