The film was supposed to be released in 2018 but faced major delays due to innumerable reasons like financial constraints, production problems, the COVID-19 pandemic, etc. As per reports, the film was offered to Suriya but later Vikram was finalised as the lead. According to reports, the popular actor charges around Rs 15 crore to star in Dhruva Natchathiram.
Dhruva Nathchathiram has had its share of struggles over the years. There has been a constant delay in the release date of the film. The film is complete and was supposed to finally release on November 24 but it has been postponed again. It was found that the spy thriller had financial and legal issues throughout its production period.
Director Gautham Menon had to reschedule Dhruva Natchathiram last week when the cases caught up with him again. In a statement released on November 28, Gautham Menon revealed that they are still committed to the film. He also mentioned that the film was nearing completion and would soon be released.
As per reports, the film will be released on December 8. But there has been no official confirmation by the makers yet.
Vikram will be next seen in the highly anticipated film Thangalaan. The film is directed by Pa Ranjith, and Vikram has undergone intense physical transformation for the film.
