Know eligibility and how to surrender for PM Kisan Yojana: PM Samman Nidhi Yojana

The PM Kisan Yojana is an initiative by the Indian government that provides farmers with a minimum income support of up to 6,000 rupees per year.

PM Kisan Yojana: As part of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, 6000 rupees are deposited into the farmers’ bank accounts each year. Three portions of this aggregate are stored into the farmer’s accounts.

PM Kisan Yojana: Step-by-step instructions for surrendering

  • Go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana pmkisan.gov.in.Select “Voluntary Surrender of PM Kisan Benefits” from the menu.
  • Enter your enrollment number and captcha code in it and afterward click on ‘Produce OTP’.
  • After entering the OTP, all the instalments taken by you will be shown.
  • After this, an inquiry will emerge ‘Whether you would rather not exploit this plan and need to give up’, click Yes.

PM Kisan Yojana: Who is ineligible for the plan?

  • Farmers who presently hold or recently held a protected post are not qualified to partake in this program.
  • If a farmer has been a minister for any state in the past, is currently a member of the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha, is mayor of a municipal corporation, or is chairperson of a district panchayat, he cannot take advantage of this program.
  • A person who works for the Central and State Government or has previously retired from his position is not eligible for the scheme unless they are a member of the Multi Tasking Staff or Group-D.
  • A person is also ineligible for this plan if his or her monthly pension is more than Rs 10,000.
  • This program is not open to applicants who pay income tax.
  • In addition, professional doctors, engineers, lawyers, and any other registered professional position holders cannot profit from this program.
