Khushi Kapoor’s emotional tribute to mother Sridevi is absolutely befitting and one that will be remembered for years to come
Khushi Kapoor in a very short span of time has proven that she is a fashion icon in the making. Whether she is heading to a red carpet-event or attending a party, she sure does know how to make an appearance. However, this time around Khushi did more than make a striking appearance on the red carpet- she made everyone on the internet go all teary-eyed and here is why.
Khushi will be making her Bollywood debut very soon with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ which is an adaptation of the popular Archie comics. Tonight at the premiere of the Netflix show as the most popular faces of B-town posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet, Khushi Kapoor made the world stand still as she walked in wearing a stunning gown that belonged to her mother Sridevi.

Sridevi had worn the same Kaufman Franco sequinned gown way back in 2013 for the IIFA awards. Khushi’s wonderful thought of including her mother on this special night of hers is one that is being lauded by netizens far and wide. Undoubtedly, this is a stellar tribute to the late actress who was a fashion icon in every sense of the term and was an absolute trendsetter in every way possible.
Styled by Priyanka Kapadia Badani, Khushi accessorised the look with a statement diamond choker that went seamlessly well with the look and a pair of heart-shaped studs. While Sridevi had opted to keep her tresses open when she wore the gown back in the day, Khushi chose to tie up her hair into a neat bun.
In terms of makeup, the dewy base, beautifully drawn eyebrows and the nude lip shade looked absolutely fantastic. The eye makeup definitely does deserve a special mention of its own!
