At Red Sea Film Festival, Katrina Kaif shared that she was nervous during the wedding planning process.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The duo surprised everyone by getting married in December 2021. Before that, they kept their relationship private and were never spotted together. The wedding happened as the world was slowly opening up post-lockdown. The actress recently shared at the Red Sea Film Festival that she was nervous during the wedding planning. She further revealed that they felt anxious, especially as they aimed to gather Katrina’s family from around the world.
Katrina said, “We were trying to plan our wedding just as the world was opening up. Like many, many people, we had to wait for the lockdowns to be lifted so that we could have a wedding with all our families there. All that I was keeping my fingers crossed for was that my entire family had to be there from all the corners of the world which we managed. So yes, that was wonderful.”
Katrina also shared the lively dynamics of her family including five sisters and a brother. The actress laughed about fights over mirror space and hair accessories but highlighted the strong support system they’ve become for each other. “My sisters became my support system. We are an insular unit that we don’t need anyone else. People are welcome, but when we all are together, it feels complete,” she added.
Katrina and Vicky’s wedding in Rajasthan was a close-knit affair with family and close friends. Their dedication to privacy only added to the intrigue around their union.
On the professional front, Katrina Kaif’s latest appearance was in the blockbuster Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan. The film garnered both critical acclaim and box-office success. She will be next seen in director Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming drama film Merry Christmas alongside Radhika Apte and Vijay Sethupathi. She will be seen in Kabir Khan’s action biography film Chandu Champion. The film also features Kartik Aaryan and Shraddha Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal continues to captivate audiences with his stellar performance in his latest film, Sam Bahadur. The actor is set to charm viewers again in Rajkumar Hirani’s comedy-drama, Dunki, where he shares the screen with Taapsee Pannu, Shah Rukh Khan, and Boman Irani.
