Talking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the horror comedy also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. The third installment in the franchise received a positive response from the audiences, earning over Rs 400 crore at the Indian box office. In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, director Anees Bazmee also reflected on the possibility of Akshay Kumar returning to the franchise in part four. He said that it would be an exciting collaboration.
Anees Bazmee also released his old film Naam. The movie, starring Ajay Devgan, Bhoomika Chawla, and Sameera Reddy, had been on hold for years. It is a psychological thriller that was shot in the early 2000s. Reports suggest that it went on floors round 2004 and took a year or two to be finished.
The film has been shot in Switzerland and Mumbai. Producer Anil Roongta, who acquired the film, has said, “Naam is truly special for me because it also marks the fourth collaboration of the superhit jodi of Ajay and Anees post ‘Deewangee’, ‘Pyaar toh hona hi tha’ and ‘Hulchul’. Ajay is fantastic to work with; he puts a lot into playing any character yet always looks effortless on screen!”
The film was initially supposed to have Priyanka Chopra as the female lead, but she backed out and Sameera Reddy replaced her. Naam also stars Bhumika Chawla.
