Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be seen in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s sartorial choices have always been ahead of the curve. Be it fashion or films, she surely knows how to leave a mark. As Mumbai battles with the October heat, the actress dished out a major style goal in all things comfy. The Heroine actress made heads turn in a breezy green linen dress. She styled it with white footwear and black shades. A video of the same has gone viral now.

Earlier in an interview with Mint, the actress opened up on her sense of style and fashion. She shared, “It’s always been about comfort. My T-shirt and jeans are all always the same in terms of style. The 1990s were much more fashionable. I remember I had done golden hair for Aitraaz, and they were a huge hit. I loved it. I would do it even today. I think my style actually hasn’t evolved that much.”
When asked how she plans her outfits, she shared. “Actually, there’s no planning behind my style. It’s just like, I pick up things on my own like, and be like, ‘This is what I think will look amazing on me’. For shoots, of course, we have stylists, but personally I just pick up things on my own. I’m quite lazy to be in gowns or couture; half of the time I don’t go to any events because I’m like, ‘I don’t want to be in a gown. I just want to be in my jeans’. Something that you are most comfortable in can be quite stylish.”
The Buckingham Murders essays Kareena as a detective and mother who, after losing her own child, must investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. She needs to go down a rabbit hole of secrets, where almost everyone in the small town becomes a suspect.
Meanwhile on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently basking in the success of her recently released film Jaane Jaan. The film which released on Netflix has received widespread appreciation from viewers and critics. The actress will now be seen in an unconventional thriller, which has been helmed by Hansal Mehta. Titled The Buckingham Murders, the movie also marks Kareena’s debut production venture.
The Hansal Mehta film has already left its indelible mark at the BFI London Film Festival 2023 and received a standing ovation from the audience. Apart from Kareena, the film also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.
