Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of Tejas which will hit theatres on October 27.

Kangana Ranaut visited Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Thursday, October 26. The visit comes a day ahead of the release of her movie Tejas. Kangana sought blessings at the holy place and revealed that Ram Mandir plays an important role in her movie too.

Kangana Ranaut was speaking to the media after her darshan at the temple when she said, “Finally the Ram Lalla temple has been built. This is a centuries-long struggle by Hindus and our generation is able to see this day. I have written a script on Ayodhya and also did research.”

“This is a 600-year-long struggle and this day is becoming possible due to the Modi Government and CM Yogi Adityanath. This will be the biggest pilgrimage site for Hindus like the Vatican is for Christians. This will be a grand symbol of the country and Sanatan culture before the world…Ram Mandir also plays a significant role in our film Tejas,” the actress added.

Later, Kangana also took to her Instagram handle and dropped a series of pictures from her Ayodhya visit. She sported an orange saree and a teeka on her forehead. Check out her post here:

Interestingly, Kangana’s visit to Ayodhya comes a day after she dropped a new promo of Tejas in which she was seen protecting a temple from terrorists.

In Tejas, Kangana is playing the role of an Air Force pilot who is on a mission to fight terrorism. Reportedly, Kangana dedicated four months to rigorous training to master the specialised combat techniques employed by the Indian forces, for her film. Produced by RSVP, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

Tejas will hit theatres on October 27.
