Makers unveiled the teaser of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory 2 at the Comic-Con San Diego event. It will mostly deal with Brooklynn’s mysterious death.
All the ‘Dino’ fans can finally cherish it! DreamWorks Animation and Netflix are returning with the much-awaited second season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory this fall. At the San Diego Comic-Con event, the makers unveiled the teaser for season 2 along with an early screening of the first episode. The panel for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 2 was headed by executive producers Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley, further joined by the series cast, including Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, Darren Barnet, Raini Rodriguez, Kausar Mohammed and Kiersten Kelly.
As shown in the teaser, it becomes clear that life won’t be easy for Darius, Ben, Kenji, Sammy and Yasmina to deal with the smuggling conspiracy while also confronting the truth behind Brooklyn’s being alive. Without revealing much, the short clip shows Darius trying to deal with a stray dinosaur on a rainy night, only to find a much bigger and more dangerous threat looming in the dark.
“With the Nublar Five stowed away on a dinosaur-filled cargo ship headed to parts unknown, their mission to find who is after them sets them on a collision course with the mysterious Broker. Unaware that Brooklynn is alive, the discovery of her whereabouts will call into question everything they thought they knew about each other,” reads the official synopsis for Season 2.
What Will Happen In Jurassic World: Chaos Theory 2?
The timeline of events in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is set after the events that took place at Camp Cretaceous. It felt like a perfect fit for the Nublar Six, the teenagers who barely survived being stranded on the island for months. However, Netflix came up with new plans, further focusing on the group in Chaos Theory Season 1.
After surviving the dangerous attacks on Isla Nublar, the group bands together to deal with dinosaurs and the people who are after them, this time going global as they unravel a smuggling conspiracy that threatens both humans and dinosaurs. While they even tried to solve Brooklynn’s death, it was later revealed that the latter was alive and cooking up some suspicious business of her own.
Season 2 is expected to unfold the mysteries behind Brooklynn’s secrecy as she is working with Darius’ former DPW head, Ronnie. Unaware of her being alive, the Nublar Five will head an even more risky mission this time.
