Jennifer Winget Reveals She Lost Sobhita Dhulipala's Role in Aditya Roy Kapur's The Night Manager – DellyRanks


Sobhita Dhulipala played a pivotal role opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the series.


During a chat, Jennifer revealed that she’s experienced disappointments before, where she’s been enthusiastic about a project but ultimately didn’t land the role.

Television actress Jennifer Winget recently shared about missing out on a role in The Night Manager, which stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. During an interview with Times Now, Jennifer revealed that she’s experienced similar disappointments before, where she’s been enthusiastic about a project but ultimately didn’t land the role. Reflecting on one such project, she mentioned recalled auditioning for The Night Manager but not securing the part.

“I had auditioned for The Night Manager but I didn’t get it. Aisa bahut baar huya hai. And I loved the original show,” she said, adding that she had auditioned for Sobhita Dhulipala’s role in the series. “And it had Aditya Roy Kapur! But it’s okay!” she said. Jennifer said that she doesn’t think too much about rejections. “Of course, you feel upset and sad but life goes on and something better comes along. I truly believe it that every time something has not worked out for me, something even better has happened,” she added.

The Night Manager marked the digital debut of Aditya Roy Kapur. The actor plays Shaan SenGupta in the thriller series, an army officer hotel manager who has to go undercover into the world of arms dealing. The series is available to stream on Disney+Hotstar.

Jennifer was last seen in Raisinghani vs Raisinghani. It premiered on SonyLIV in February and also starred Reem Shaikh. On TV, Jennifer Winget was last seen in Beyhadh 2. She made her OTT debut with Code M.

The actress became popular in the iconic role of Maya Mehrotra in TV serial Beyhadh. The show that was renewed for a second season was much loved by the viewers, especially for Jennifer’s role as the stylish antagonist. The show managed to keep the audience intrigued with its interesting storyline. One of the most loved daily soaps on Indian television, the show had a hint of hatred and revenge made it even more interesting.
