Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited publicly for the first time in seven weeks since the reports of their divorce emerged on the internet. On Thursday, the couple, who tied the knot in July 2022, was photographed in Los Angeles together as they attended an event to support their kids.
A source told Dailymail.com that Jennifer and Ben arrived separately, but they were both seen wearing their wedding rings as they left the event. “Ben did not look happy to see JLo as she arrived at a show for one of his kids. When he saw her get out of her car, they did not hug or kiss,’ the observer noted of the actor, 51, and his wife, 54, who arrived separately and met up in a parking lot,” an eyewitness told the publication.
The spotting comes as rumours of issues in their marriage continue to swirl. They were last photographed together publicly in New York City on March 30.
If a recent report in ‘In Touch Weekly’ is to be believed, the couple is heading for divorce. The ‘Gone Girl’ actor has reportedly moved out of Jennifer’s house.
“Ben Affleck has hit a breaking point with Jennifer Lopez and has moved out of the home they share,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “‘The writing is on the wall — it’s over,’ ‘They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!’” the insider added.
It has also been revealed that Ben and Jennifer are likely to sold their dream home soon. While the reason of their alleged divorce is not known as of now, it is being said that the couple parted ways because “she can’t control him, and he can’t change her”.
“He’s focusing on his work and his kids now. Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” the source claimed.
