Entry-level Compass Sport now priced at Rs 18.99 lakh; other variants are priced Rs 14,000 higher.
Jeep India has revised prices for the Compass range, with the entry-level Compass Sport trim costing Rs 1.7 lakh less, at Rs 18.99 lakh. The other five variants – Longitude, Night Eagle, Limited, Black Shark and Model S – have seen their prices increase by Rs 14,000.
- Jeep Compass now priced between Rs 18.99 lakh and 32.41 lakh
- 4×4 only available with top-spec Model S automatic variant
- Remains mechanically unchanged

The top-spec Compass Model S AT, the range-topping variant, is the only one to get 4×4 tech; other variants are front-wheel-drive only. In addition, since the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine was discontinued in May 2023, the Compass only has a 170hp, 350Nm, 2.0-litre diesel engine that’s mated to either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed torque convertor automatic.
Compared to rivals like the Hyundai Tucson (Rs 29.02 lakh-35.94 lakh), Volkswagen Tiguan (Rs 35.17 lakh) and the Citroen C5 Aircross (Rs 37.67 lakh), although the Compass range starts far lower its higher variants are priced at par with the competition. It remains to be seen how the price revision affects the Compass’ sales in India.
