Shah Rukh Khan shared what AbRam told him after watching Jawan.
In his recent #AskSRK session post Jawan success, Shah Rukh Khan answered some burning questions from the fans.
Shah Rukh Khan’s action-packed film, Jawan has entered the Rs 500 crore club in less than two weeks of its release. The Atlee directorial made the best of the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday and as a result, registered Rs 500 crore collection in India alone. The film continues to heap praises from celebrities across various industries. Marking the success of the film, SRK conducted an impromptu #AskSRK session on X(formerly Twitter), where he showcased his wit, while responding to some prodding questions of the fans. Among the questions, SRK picked one which inquired about his son AbRam’s reaction to Jawan.
A fan wrote, “Abram ne #Jawan dhek ke kya kaha #AskSRK @iamsrk.” King Khan’s response to that was, “Baap Baap hota hai..!! No no just joking. He loved the fight with the Big guy….he loved it in the climax. #Jawan.”
While fans continue to enjoy Jawan, Atlee teased that there could be Jawan 2. Speaking with Pinkvilla, Atlee said, “Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day.”
He also confirmed that he is writing a film for Shah Rukh and Vijay to star together in. Speaking with Siddharth Kannan, Atlee said Shah Rukh and Vijay have asked him to pen a script for them. “They both told me, ‘Atlee, bring a script that we both can do.’ Vijay sir and Shah Rukh sir said yes. They said, ‘One day you bring the script, definitely we will (star in it).’ I also thought they were just saying for that day, like a birthday gift. The next day, Vijay sir messaged saying ‘If you’re going to write, I am definitely going to be a part of it.’ Shah Rukh sir, who was next to me at the time, said, ‘Sir, you’re serious about it no? We are going to make a film together no?’” he said. Atlee revealed that both the stars often enquire about it.
With two full weeks of screenings, Jawan continues to hook viewers’ attention. It has maintained a double-digit box office performance. As the weekend approaches, it appears that the film will continue to hold a grip making huge box office collections. On its 14th day in theatres, the film is estimated to have accumulated Rs 10 crore across all languages in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The remarkable achievement brings the domestic collection of this blockbuster to a staggering Rs 518 crore.
Directed by Atlee, Jawan also has Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Deepika Padukone plays a special cameo in the film.
