Jawan 2 Soon? Sanya Malhotra Answers If Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Will Have a Sequel Too –

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has become the biggest blockbusters of all time. Ever since its release, the Atlee directorial has been ruling hearts, headlines and of course, box office. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Sanya Malhotra, who is also a part of Jawan, was asked if there is an extended cut of Jawan. The actress shared, “That shows how much people love the film and are invested in all of us.”

“I would, as an audience, like to see an extended version as well and I hope they come out of it,” Sanya added. The actress further spilled the beans about Jawan’s sequel and said, “If not that, I hope they make Jawan 2 and cast me in it”.

On the day of Jawan’s release too, Sanya shared a video on her Instagram handle in which she was seen recreating Shah Rukh’s iconic pose from Mitwa in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. The video was captured during the shoot of Aamir Khan’s Dangal in which Sanya played the role of wrestler Babita Phogat. “Itni shiddat se maine ye manifest kiya hai, ki har zarre ne ye fulfil karne ki saazish ki hai. Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai,” she had written in the caption of the video.

Earlier too, in a recent interview with Indian Express, Sanya Malhotra had confessed that it was her dream to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. “I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Before this I would give some really weird answers every time I was asked whether I am in Jawan or not. I always hoped to work with SRK one day, so it is a dream come true. I cannot wait to see myself around him… it is a dream role, a dream film. Just to be around him makes me really happy,” she told the news portal.

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film is inching close to the Rs 300 mark at the box office.
