Janhvi Kapoor Set for Mr and Mrs Mahi’s Outdoor Shoot, Asks Fans to Wish Her Luck

It’s a happy Monday for Janhvi Kapoor. The actress sought some luck from her fans for the outdoor shooting of her film Mr and Mrs Mahi. In the pictures, the Dhadak actress looked elegant in her white ethnic outfit. She completed her look by donning an embroidered white dupatta over the outfit. Janhvi opted for minimal makeup and wore a silver pair of silver oxidized earrings.

As soon as Janhvi Kapoor.s shared the pictures, fans flooded the comment section by dropping heart emojis and showing their love for the actress. Janhvi’s industry friends like Fashion designer Manish Malhotra wrote, “Beautiful, Good luck always,” while Orhan Awatramani commented, “For me, it’s a sad Monday as I am not with u.” Film director Sharan Sharma wrote, “Good Luck Mahi.”

Earlier, during an interview with Pinkvilla, Rajkummar Rao talked about the premise of Sharan Sharma’s Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. He said, “Cricket is an important part of the film, but the film is not only about cricket. It’s about relationships, it’s about dealing with human emotions about how we feel in life. I can’t reveal much about it right now.”

Regarding working with Janhvi, Rajkummar Rao said that “I am very excited to collaborate with Janhvi again. I think she is fabulous and brilliant at what she does. I have been saying this since the release of Dhadak and always felt she has a bright future ahead. Sharan is again a young and passionate filmmaker.”

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have earlier worked together in the horror comedy Roohi.

Helmed by Sharan Sharma, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is the life story of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Rajkummar Rao will play the character of MS Dhoni while Janhvi’s character is called Mahima.

Janhvi Kapoor’s last movie was Good Luck Jerry which was released in July. Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, which is backed by Dharma, is expected to hit the silver screens on October 7 this year.
