Janhvi Kapoor reacted to Veer Pahariya making his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force in 2024.
Akshay Kumar has been on a roll on social media on Monday, October 2, as he is busy giving his fans updates on his upcoming films Mission Raniganj and Sky Force. However, when it came to the unveiling of the first glimpse of Sky Force, it was Janhvi Kapoor’s special reaction to debutant Veer Pahariya, the younger brother of her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, that caught the fans’ eyes.
Talking to her Instagram story on Monday, Janhvi reposted the video shared by Akshay Kumar and Maddock Films. She wrote, “This is going to be (fire emojis). Can’t wait @veerpahariya6 (red heart emoji).”
Janhvi’s younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of her debut film The Archies, also took to her Instagram story to express her excitement. Sharing the video, Khushi wrote, “So excited for you!! @veerpahariya6.”
Sky Force is said to revolve around India’s first air strike on Pakistan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. As October 2 marks the former Prime Minister’s birth anniversary, Akshay Kumar unveiled the first announcement regarding the film.
He wrote, “Aaj Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti ke din saara desh keh raha hai- Jai Jawan, Jai Kisaan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhaan (Today on the day of Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti, the whole country is saying – Hail Jawan, Hail Kisan, Hail Science, Hai Research). No better day than today to announce the incredible story of #SkyForce: Our untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike. Give it love, please. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat. Presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, Sky Force takes flight in cinemas on 2nd October 2024.”
The film will mark Shikhar Pahariya’s younger brother, Veer Pahariya’s Bollywood debut. Veer is said to have a prominent role in the film. Co-directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. Amar Kaushik is the creative producer. The film is scheduled to be released on October 2, 2024.
