With the onset of Diwali festivities, celebrities have started putting their best fashion foot forward as they attend some exclusive parties in B-Town. Recently, Karan Johar organised a special puja at the Dharma office on Dhanteras, and it had to be a star-studded occasion. Among others, Janhvi Kapoor was spotted with her sister, Khushi Kapoor. What caught everyone’s attention was how elegantly the sisters dressed for the event. Ditching luxurious designer wear, this duo opted for simple half sarees, and you will surely love the look.
For the puja, Janhvi wore a lavender half-saree. Jahnvi looked radiant with her hair let loose and accessorised with jasmine. She wore minimal makeup and sleek white traditional jewellery. Khushi wore a similar outfit. She was seen in a maroon half-saree with ethnic jewellery. She left her hair open and only pinned a few strands in the front. Both the sisters look fab in minimal ensembles and are quite up and about with the festive spirit. Interestingly, both of these sarees are recycled. They were earlier worn by Janhvi on separate occasions. Janhvi shared a series of pictures along with Khushi in this outfit and surely the sisters look stunning. She wrote, “Happy Dhanteras! Last pic is me when I ask khushu for one more huggy me pls.”
Earlier, at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash, Janhvi Kapoor looked stunning in a gold lehenga with abstract sequin embellishments. She paired it up with a choli that had a plunging neckline and a backless design. For her accessories, she chose a pair of Jhumkis, a clutch, and rings. Khushi Kapoor paired stunning plunging golden blouses with maroon velvet lehenga. The festive glam-up was on the spot with a perfect balance of shine and subtle.
Janhvi Kapoor was most recently seen with Varun Dhawan in Nitesh Tiwari’s romantic drama Bawaal. She will soon be seen in Rajkummar Rao’s Mr. & Mrs. Mahi. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar. The movie is set to hit theatres in 2024. Aside from that, she is filming the Telugu film Devara. On the other hand, Khushi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut. Khushi will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The film is based on the popular American comic book series of the same name, and it stars debutant Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Vedang Raina, among others. It will be available on Netflix on December 7.
