Bradley Cooper has been serving Philly cheesesteaks to New Yorkers from his new food truck. Ex-partner Irina Shayk and Gigi Hadid also visited him.
Actor Bradley Cooper, a native of Philadelphia, recently ventured into a new business and showcased his culinary skills at his latest endeavor, the Danny & Coop food truck, stationed in New York. Partnering with Danny DiGiampietro, owner of Angelo’s Pizzeria in South Philadelphia, Cooper was reportedly beaming with pride while grilling up Philly cheesesteaks, which he says, is ‘a taste of home’. Bradley is also being supported by his dear ones in this work. His ex-partner, Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, and their 6-year-old daughter, Lea de Seine were recently spotted at the food truck, reports Page Six. Even supermodel Gigi Hadid, Bradley’s rumoured current partner, also dropped by to show her support.
Despite speculations about Irina’s rumored romance with Tom Brady, the trio engaged in friendly banter. Reportedly, Cooper and Irina are also co-parenting. While Bradley’s relationship with Irina may have fizzled out in October, his connection with Gigi appears to be going strong, with her visiting the food truck just an hour after Irina, as per Page Six.
Some video snippets shared on social media captured Bradley in action, adorned with gloves and an apron, meticulously preparing orders inside the truck.
“Good afternoon, bread heads. Come on down, get a cheesesteak,” Cooper says with a smile in the video shared by the eatery. The person behind the camera can be heard saying, “Danny and Coops,” which is also tagged in the caption of the post and seen on their clothing.
Here is a glimpse of the truck:
Cooper’s food truck, located on West Third Street near Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village, aims to gauge New Yorkers’ appetite for this iconic Philly dish. The Hollywood star makes and hands out the staple Philadelphia food to customers and fans that stop by.
As Bradley continued to cook up a storm in the food truck, the Danny & Coop’s Cheesesteaks pop event has also garnered attention for its charitable cause, with all funds reportedly contributing to feeding New Yorkers in need. Priced at $10 (approx. Rs. 833.7) each, the cheesesteaks drew crowds and positive reviews, marking a successful foray into the bustling food scene of NYC.
According to the Daily Mail, the origins of this collaboration trace back to Bradley and Danny’s meeting in 2019.
Talking about Cooper’s work front, his film, Maestro, just released on November 22 in select theaters. The film is based on the love story between the renowned composer Leonard Bernstein and actor Felicia Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan. The film will premiere on Netflix on December 20. So far, it has garnered rave positive reviews. Maestro marks Bradley Cooper’s second directorial project after his debut in 2018’s A Star Is Born.
