Ishaan Khatter reacted to a viral post which claimed that he had played the role of Rajesh Khatter’s daughter in Sooryavansham. He quashed the rumour and set the record straight.
Recently, a viral post on Instagram alleged that actor Ishaan Khatter played the role of Rajesh Khattar’s daughter in Sooryavansham. The post added a screenshot from the film which showed the child actor decked in a purple ethnic outfit. It got fans talking and the actor took to his Instagram to clarify that he did not play the role of Khattar’s daughter in the drama.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Ishaan Khatter shared the viral post which claimed that he had played a role in Sooryavansham as a child actor. The post claimed to share ‘unknown facts’ about the popular film. The post mentioned that Ishaan played a role in the movie and said, “Ishaan Khatter played the role of the daughter of Rajesh Khattar in the movie but he appears only for few frames.” The actor quashed the rumours and wrote, “Setting the record straight once and for all. That child, god bless her, is not me. Sorry to disappoint y’all, just don’t wanna take credit for her work.”

The Wikipedia page of Sooryavansham also wrongly attributes the role of Rajesh Khattar’s daughter to the Dhadak actor. Many users went back to the original post and called out the page for spreading misinformation. One user said, “Who came here from Ishaan Khattar’s story?” A second user joked, “Justice for Ishaan Khattar.” A third user commented, “That’s not Ishan Khattar.”
Ishaan made his debut in Bollywood as a child actor when he starred in Shahid Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! He also starred in Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds in 2017. He made his Bollywood debut as an adult in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak where he was paired with Janhvi Kapoor. He was recently seen in Nicole Kidman’s The Perfect Couple which was released on Netflix. The actor has The Royals in his kitty in which he will share the screen with Bhumi Pednekar.
