Swara Bhasker and her husband Fahad Ahmad happily disclosed their pregnancy news in June this year. They joyfully revealed that their first child would arrive in October. Throughout her pregnancy journey, the actress has shared beautiful photos from her maternity photoshoots. Recently, she was greeted with a heartwarming baby shower thoughtfully arranged by her husband and friends. Swara Bhasker shared glimpses from the celebration and expressed gratitude to those who made it such a special occasion.
Swara Bhasker shared images and videos from her baby shower on her Instagram handle. The first clip shows Swara and Fahad Ahmad entering the house as their friends are ready for the surprise baby shower. Caught unaware by her friends and family, Swara was heard saying, “I’m in my pyjamas.” In the pictures that followed, Swara and Fahad can be seen posing with balloons that read “Mommy to be” and “Papa to be,” respectively. While Fahad was dressed in a blue kurta with a vest and white pyjamas, the actress was seen wearing a brown printed co-ord set. Swara and Fahad cut the cake as everyone celebrated the joyous occasion.
In the caption, Swara Bhasker wrote, “I love surprises! Last week, one of my oldest friends Samar Narayen & the amazing Lakshita and Fahad gave me the sweetest surprise in the form of a baby shower that they managed to plan and execute without me getting even a whiff of it! I was sooooo clueless I arrived in pajamas! Ok not quite.. but I didn’t catch on till I caught Kaushik Moitra & Priyatna Basu arriving outside & then too I was merely confused!”
She went on to thank each and every one present on the occasion, expressing that her, “Heart is soooo full! This baby is so lucky to be surrounded by such loving and wonderful Masis and Mamus, and Nanas and Nanis. Thank you all soooooo much! Lakshita and Samar you guys outdo yourselves every time! Feel so blessed!”
Announcing her pregnancy in June, Swara wrote, “Sometimes all your prayers are answered all together! Blessed, grateful, excited (and clueless!) as we step into a whole new world.” She shared a picture of Fahad and her cradling her baby bump under the clear blue sky.
Swara Bhasker married political activist Fahad Ahmad in a court ceremony on January 6, 2023. Later, they had a complete traditional wedding in March in Delhi.
