Indian Railways has explained that there is no adjustment of their baggage policy and the current approach is upheld for over 10 years.
This comes after a few reports expressed that Railways is intending to charge for additional stuff.
Taking to Twitter, the Ministry of Railways expressed, “News thing covered on a few virtual entertainment/computerized news stages that the gear strategy of rail lines has as of late been changed, is mistaken. It is thus explained that no change has been made in the new past and the current luggage policy is upheld for over 10 years.”
Why there has been disarray over baggage rules?
The disarray began after the Ministry of Railways on May 29 tweeted that if travelers have abundance stuff, they would go to the bundle office and book the gear.

What are luggage rules?
