Indian artists Girish Vishwa, known for her appearances in the singing reality show Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, has returned to India from Israel. Vishwa was stranded in the war-prone area along with his son but returned to Mumbai on October 9. Following his return, the musician shared what all he faced in Israel.
Speaking to the news agency ANI, Girish recalled how he woke up ‘to the noise of a massive blast at 6:30 am’ and revealed that he then rushed to the bunkers. The musician mentioned that even though he was in a bunker, he could hear the noises of missiles and explosions. From burning vehicles to rockets in the air, Girish revealed what alll he saw in Israel.
“Later we came out into the lobby and could see rockets in the air. It was a heart-rending scene…I thank the organisers, it is due to their courage we could come out of there…When we were en route (to the airport), we saw burnt vehicles, pits on roads and Police presence. All 10 of us returned home safely,” he said.

Girish was not the only Indian celebrity who was stuck in Israel. Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha was also stranded in Israel after Hamas, a Palestinian Islamist militant group, attacked the country. She was unable to contact her team initially but reconnected with them on Sunday morning and informed them about her return.
Earlier today, Nushrratt took to her soial media platforms and shared a video recalling 38 ‘daunting’ hours she spent in Israel. “The last week will forever remain etched in my memory…a rollercoaster ride of emotions, the final 36 hours of which will remain the most unforgettable and daunting of my life,” she said in a video she shared on her Instagram handle.
