India Shines at The Grammys With Three Wins; Alia, Ranbir To Perform at Anant Ambani’s Pre-wedding Bash? –

The 66th annual Grammy Awards took place on February 4 (February 5, IST) and India bagged three big wins at the ceremony. India’s Shakti — a collaboration featuring John McLaughlin, Zakir Hussain, Shankar Mahadevan, V.Selvaganesh, and Ganesh Rajagopalan — has won the Grammy Award for their work, The Moment. The album won Best Global Music Album. Besides Shakti, India’s Rakesh Chaurasia also won two awards — Global Music Performance and Contemporary Instrumental Album. While India shined at the Grammys 2024, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift also won big awards.

Popular Marathi singer Vinod Kumavat, known for hit song Hai Jhumka Vali Por, has been accused of rape. The Nashik Police has registered a case based on a complaint filed by a woman. According to the complaint, filed at the Nashik Road Police Station, Kumavat reportedly lured the complainant to have a physical relationship on the pretext of marriage. Subsequently, he refused to marry her, according to the complainant. She also alleged that Kumavat physically assaulted her.
