Income Tax Department warns against fake lottery, see details here

The tweet read, “Be careful with false messages being circled for the sake of the Income Tax Department! Kindly don’t share your own or monetary subtleties as the Department never requests such subtleties”.

Other than sharing this advance notice on Twitter, the Income Tax Department shared a tweet from PIB Fact Check that cautioned general society against falling into the snare of lottery tricks. The reality checking unit had referenced that the office isn’t running any fortunate draw plans.
