Improves Digestion:

Ajwain water can be of great help for digestion, and overall gut health. It can also be used to find relief from constipation and diarrhoea. It consists of soluble fibre, which helps with stomach problems.

Controls Obesity:

Carom water can be used in controlling weight gain. As per reports, the water helps in increasing the metabolism of your body, which could result in fat burning. So, drinking the water daily can prove to be good for weight loss.

Blood Sugar Control:

Carom water can also help in controlling blood sugar. Diabetic people can consume water after they have eaten something. Reports say that the high fibre present in the seeds controls the blood sugar. Keep in mind that diabetics should only consume it on the advice of a doctor.

Increases Immunity:

Taking Ajwain water on an empty stomach could help with boosting your immunity. According to reports, it contains antioxidants which help with immunity and health. It also has a compound called thymol, which has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It can help with fighting disease-causing bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella.

Reduces Bad Cholesterol:

Taking Ajwain water daily in the morning can help with the problem of high cholesterol. The experts say that the seed extracts lower the levels of LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and total lipids. In turn, it could help with increasing the amount of cholesterol in the body. The presence of dietary fibres and fatty acids helps with increasing the levels of good cholesterol in the body.
