The New Hyundai Verna is now available in four trims and two petrol engine options.
Hyundai has just launched the new Verna with prices starting at Rs 10.90 lakh and going up to Rs 17.38 lakh. The Verna features new powertrain options and comes with an updated list of safety and luxury features. All variants come with six airbags and ABS as standard.
New 2023 Hyundai Verna variant breakdownÂ
There are two powertrain options available – a 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. The NA gets a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox options, while the turbo-petrol can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.
The all-new Verna comes with four trim options – EX, S, SX, and SX (O). The EX and S trims are only available with the 1.5-litre NA engine. The SX and SX(O) trims are available with both engines, however, while the NA engines only get a CVT automatic, the turbo-petrol gets both MT and DCT options.

2023 Hyundai Verna rivalsÂ
The all-new Hyundai Verna faces stiff competition in the sedan segment that is gaining popularity again. The Honda City is the segment leader with the VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz following closely. Through the years, the Verna has been a great rival to the Honda City and we can expect this battle to heat up once again. None of these cars are available with a diesel powertrain, which might put off some buyers. However, if fuel economy is what you’re seeking, the Honda City is offered in a hybrid with a claimed fuel efficiency of 27kpl.
