Spy shots reveal that the Creta N Line will get two new colours and could get 18-inch alloys.
A few weeks after the launch of the facelifted Hyundai Creta, we now have news on the highly anticipated Creta N Line. The SUV was recently spied on during an ad shoot in Pune, and it features bits that are already present on the Hyundai Venue N Line and i20 N Line..Â
- Gets an all-black interiorÂ
- Spied with a thunder Blue and matte grey paint shade
- Could be offered with a manual gearboxÂ
Hyundai Creta N Line exterior, interior and coloursÂ
The SUV will get N Line-specific design elements like sportier front and rear bumpers, along with red accents running along the entire lower portion of the SUV. The car appears to be running on larger 18-inch wheels, compared to the 16 and 17-inch wheels which the standard Creta gets. A big talking point is the colours that the SUV has been spotted with; blue and matte grey, with both shades being present on the current N Line models.Â
On the inside, the Creta N Line gets an all-black interior colour theme, unlike the dual-tone offering on the standard facelifted Creta. N Line specific interior bits like the steering wheel and gearshift lever can also be seen on the vehicle in the spy shots.Â
Hyundai Creta N line engine and performance Â
We expect that the N Line will get the new 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine that makes 160hp and 253Nm of torque that is present on the facelifted Hyundai Creta. There’s a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission mated to this engine; however, Hyundai could also offer the sportier Creta with a 6-speed manual transmission, which is present on other models like the Verna.Â
Apart from the engine, we expect the N Line treatment to include a retuned suspension setup, reworked steering dynamics and a sportier exhaust, just like other N Line models.
Hyundai Creta N Line India launchÂ
Since the SUV has been spotted at an advertising shoot and not while testing, it’s fair to say that the launch of the new Hyundai Creta N Line is not too far away. In 2023, Hyundai India sold more than 10,000 N Line vehicles and at a media interaction earlier this month, Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai India, said, “N Line is a very niche product and we are happy with the numbers it has got us. In fact, there will be more N Line products that we will launch in India very soon and we are expecting sales to reach 15,000-20,000 units in the next few years.”
