Hyundai Creta facelift interior
While the new spy images only show a small part of the Creta facelift’s interior, what can be confirmed beyond doubt is the new instrument cluster – the unit, with its white dials, seems to be shared with the Hyundai Alcazar. Other noticeable bits from the spy shots include the presence of the two-spoke steering seen on the new Verna, the continuation of the 10.25-inch central infotainment touchscreen, and similar-looking knobs for the automatic climate control system. Unfortunately, all other details are, literally, shrouded in darkness. Along with new upholstery, other features Hyundai is expected to offer, at least on on top-spec trims of the Creta facelift, include an ADAS suite and a 360-degree camera.
Hyundai Creta facelift exterior
Previous spy shots have shown that the updated Creta will sport a design that will bring it more in-line with newer Hyundai models like the Exter, the new Santa Fe, and the Palisade. Larger 18-inch wheels are also expected to be offered on select higher-spec variants. There are more details on the Creta facelift’s exterior here.
Hyundai Creta facelift engines
Although the 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol and 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel engines from the pre-facelift Creta are expected to continue (along with their respective manual and automatic gearbox options) the previously available 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol will be replaced by the new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit. Gearbox options for this more powerful motor are expected to be same 7-speed dual-clutch auto and 6-speed manual units seen on the new Hyundai Verna.
Hyundai Creta facelift price, rivals
When it arrives early in 2024, the Creta facelift will cost a slight premium over the outgoing model’s Rs 10.87 lakh-19.2 lakh price range. Hyundai’s midsize SUV will continue to face-off against the Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.
