Honda announces special offers on its Shine commuter

Honda India has announced special offers on one of its most  popular two-wheelers, the Honda Shine. 

Under this offer, buyers can avail a low down payment amount of Rs 5,999 and 5 percent cashback, up to Rs 5,000. This cashback offer is only applicable for EMI transactions via select debit and credit cards and requires a minimum transaction amount of Rs 30,000. In addition, customers can avail a personal insurance worth Rs 5 lakh on the purchase of the Honda Joy Club Loyalty membership. 

The Honda Shine is one of the best commuter motorcycles in the segment and recently achieved the one crore-unit sales mark in India in January 2022. The motorcycle comes in two variants, Drum and Disc, which cost Rs74,943 and Rs 79,343, respectively.

The Honda Shine is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 10.74hp and 11Nm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Shine competes with the TVS Raider (Rs 82,953) and the Hero Super Splendor (Rs 74,600: Drum, Rs 77,600: Disc).

The Shine is a good option for those looking for a no-nonsense commuter. Although the Shine is on par with the Super Splendor in terms of power, the Raider makes slightly more power than the two.
