Honda Amaze price, new variant, all new Amaze launch details -DellyRanks

Honda Amaze now sold in two variants only; next-gen Amaze due by Diwali 2024.

Honda had recently updated its entire line-up with some new standard safety features, including six airbags for City and Elevate, as well as seat belt reminders for all 5 seats for City, City Hybrid (e:HEV), Elevate, and Amaze. The update has also resulted in Amaze losing out on two of its variants – E and Elite Edition.
  1. Amaze to be offered in S, VX variants only
  2. Prices up by Rs 5,500 across both variants
  3. Next-gen Honda Amaze to debut by Diwali this year

The Amaze Elite Edition was introduced during the festive period last year. Based on the top-end VX variant, the Amaze Elite Edition was equipped with additional features like a rear spoiler, an illuminated sidestep, an anti-fog film on the wing mirrors, and more. The special edition variant has now been discontinued, given that Honda possibly launched it as a limited-run model.

The lineup has further shrunk with the discontinuation of the entry-level E variant, which was priced at Rs 7.20 lakh. Being sparsely equipped, the Amaze E was mostly purchased by fleet operators. However, it did not see much success there since its rivals Hyundai Aura, Maruti Dzire and Tata Tigor offer a factory-fitted CNG kit which is preferred by fleet operators.

The Honda Amaze is now available in two variants – S and VX, priced at Rs 7.93 lakh and Rs 9.04 lakh respectively for the manual variants. The Amaze S CVT now costs Rs 8.83 lakh, while the top-end VX CVT is priced at Rs 9.86 lakh.

Next-gen Honda Amaze debut this year

Honda is readying the third generation of the Amaze for India, expected to debut by Diwali 2024. As per our sources, the next-gen Amaze will be based on the same platform as the City and Elevate, albeit with some modifications including a shorter wheelbase. Design for the updated sedan will likely be inspired by bigger Honda sedans sold abroad, while the cabin is also expected to be thoroughly upgraded.
