Hero MotoCorp has unveiled two teasers for the upcoming Destini 125 scooter, which is set to launch soon. This will be the first major update to the model since its debut in 2018.
The teasers reveal that the Destini 125 is set to receive a significant cosmetic makeover, featuring a fresh design with a more squared-off LED headlight with daytime running lights, repositioned front indicators, a longer seat, and accents finished in bronze.
The rear of the scooter showcases a sleeker LED taillight with a separate section for the indicators and the inclusion of a passenger backrest on the top XTEC variant, along with a digital display and Bluetooth connectivity.
Additionally, the scooter appears to be suspended on a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It features alloy wheels, probably 12-inch in size, and a front disc brake. Although these features might be reserved for the higher-end variants.
The current scooter is powered by an air-cooled, 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine producing 9.1hp and 10.4Nm of torque. It remains to be seen if Hero will make any changes to the powerplant in the new scooter.
