PIB Fact Check has tweeted about another phony trick alert! The Press Information Bureau’s true reality check Twitter handle ‘PIB Fact Check’ has cautioned everybody about a phony lottery notice circling via online entertainment.
The misrepresentation lottery ad guarantees that the beneficiary walked away with a sweepstakes of Rs 25 lakh which was mutually coordinated by Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) and the Reliance Jio Department. To which, PIB Fact Check has said that this lottery is a trick. Try not to share your own data on such calls, sends, and messages.
“Calls, messages and messages are being coursed by fraudsters with the bogus case that the beneficiary has scored a sweepstakes of ₹25,00,000. #PIBFactCheck: Beware of such lottery tricks. Try not to share your own data on such calls, sends and messages,” PIB Fact Check tweeted.
The PIB additionally added a connection to the Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell in this tweet, which gives more data about the ‘KBC Lottery Fraud’ and alerts individuals against managing such cases.
